Member Solutions Supports National Bullying Prevention Month
Hatboro, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- October is National Bullying Prevention Month — a month-long campaign to increase awareness, education and prevention of bullying.
Throughout the month, Member Solutions will show its support of the bullying prevention movement by participating in bullying prevention activities and providing educational materials to promote positive change.
“Many of our Martial Arts business clients include bullying prevention curriculum in their programs,” said Steven Pinado, CEO of Member Solutions. “This type of curriculum helps children identify bullying behavior while increasing their overall confidence and assertion that they have the right to grow up safe. National Bullying Prevention Month was founded by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2006. Since then, PACER has developed a comprehensive library of educational and interactive anti-bullying resources for elementary, middle and high school students, as well as schools, parents and educators. PACER also provides assistance by phone and email to students, parents and professionals to address bullying-related situations.
To support and sustain the development of services and resources, Member Solutions will also raise and match contributions in October. Donations and matched gifts will be given to PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to help keep services and resources free of charge to families in need.
