Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) May 28, 2014
Deal Capital (http://www.dealcapital.com) a Seattle mergers and acquisitions firm announces key expansion efforts in several market sectors in the Pacific Northwest as the market for M&A begins to warm following one of the longest cold spells in over a generation. Specifically, the company is now working with several research associates helping to expand market-specific expertise in the home healthcare, medical staffing, SaaS and digital media markets--areas the firm sees as ripe for opportunity over the next several years.
“We’re working with our newly appointed associates to familiarize ourselves with key market leaders, industry multiples and the most acquisitive firms in each sector,” says Chris Sheppard, Director at Deal Capital. “While we possess in-depth industry expertise in other markets like software, technology, oil & gas, we’re beginning to become more well-versed in other markets where we’ve seen demand on the rise.”
The company has seen a large uptick in the number and quality of deals flowing in in the last 18 months. “We’re seeing the tails of the recession ebb away and many sellers are starting to come back into the market to play again,” Sheppard says. “2013 was a busy year and 2014 is shaping up to be even more exciting,” he says.
Some other areas the company is beginning to increase its expertise in include software-as-a-service (SaaS) firms and digital media businesses. “We’re currently representing a digital media advertising business as well as a provider of SaaS solutions, hosting their applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS),” says Sheppard. Both of these clients have helped the firm further expand their expertise of the buyers within these markets.
“As we near the close of Q2 2014, we’re hoping to find opportunities for further growth that will fuel the growth for Deal Capital in the coming years,” says Sheppard. “With the markets back in full swing, it’s a fun time to be working in M&A again.”
