On the other end of the spectrum sits the latest version of the Honda Civic Hatchback. The 2019 Civic Hatchback picks up some new features for the model year as well as a new competitor. Despite the rival’s best efforts, the 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback is able to offer as much as 180 horsepower, compared to just 168 from its chief competitor. Finally, the 2019 Civic Hatchback and its five trims (LX, Sport, EX, EX-L Navi and Sport Touring) have more available cargo space than the newest hatchback to be added to the segment.
