Metal Stamping and Fabrication Company Now Located Closer to Chicago
Cary, Illinois (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Moving from one place to another can be quite the undertaking, and that is no exception for Chirch Global Manufacturing. With fifteen stamping presses ranging from 30 to 400 tons, along with an automated metal fabrication cell and a fully equipped tool room, moving the company from McHenry to Cary is a significant challenge. Along with the equipment, inventory of customer parts also have to be relocated.
Over the past several weeks, Chirch Global Manufacturing has been building a stock of production parts and slowly migrating over equipment. While one press was moving, an equal was kept up to back up production until the new facility was ready to make parts. Though more tedious than moving everything at once, it insured that production would remain uninterrupted.
One thing that helped keep production on track was the ability for Chirch Global Manufacturing to monitor production from not just two locations, but from any location. With the use of Epicor, a cloud-based ERP system, production could be monitored from anywhere that had internet access.
Though moving is extensive, there are a lot of major benefits to making this decision. The main benefits of moving to the new location for Chirch Global Manufacturing include being in a new building, lowering their fixed costs, and being closer to a lot of their local customers.

Production for some of the stamping presses and all of their sheet metal fabrication equipment is currently up and running at the new facility. Only a few pieces of equipment remain to be moved, and everything will be completely installed and ready for full production volumes in early August.
