MIAMI Realtors Hires NAR VP of Information Technology Liz Sturrock as New CIO
MIAMI (PRWEB) March 22, 2019 -- The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) has named Liz Sturrock, RCE, its new Chief Innovation Officer. With more than 50,000 total members, MIAMI is the largest local Realtor Association in the nation. Before joining MIAMI, Sturrock was the Vice President of Information Technology for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the largest trade group in the U.S.

Sturrock held various positions during her 10-year tenure at NAR, including Vice President of Information Technology, which includes oversight of NAR's proprietary e-commerce network, Executive Cirector for RAMCO, and Director of ITS Logistics. Prior to NAR, she worked at SPSS, the software company that brought statistics to the mainstream.

She has extensive experience with state and local associations and their technology needs as well as with the real estate industry and Realtor profession. BizTech magazine just featured Sturrock as one of three "IT Security Leaders to Know” in their March issue.
“Liz will identify technological threats and opportunities and will explore ways to utilize our member intelligence to improve efficiency and quality of service,” said Kinney. “Liz will also offer insight into data protection and security as it relates to the association, our members and their business.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Realtor Association Certified Executive (RCE) and a certified Support Center Manager from the Help Desk Institute.
Sturrock has been married to her husband Jim for 15 years. They have two children, a chocolate Labrador, and a cat.
Originally from Chicago, Liz is a Cubs fan. Her other hobbies include cooking, watching the Cubs, and travel.
