PORTSMOUTH, Va. (PRWEB) August 08, 2019
Today, RocketBike has announced that Michael Swenson has joined the growing digital agency as a Managing Partner and the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.
As CMO, Swenson will oversee marketing and communications at RocketBike, including elevating the brand, leveraging all channels that target marketers and advertisers, enhancing the client experience, and positioning the company to expand its services and offerings.
Swenson is a forward-thinking creative and strategic problem solver with over 19 years of experience in the marketing industry. With a history of success as a startup founder and a marketing leader within large organizations, Swenson brings valuable expertise in brand management, e-commerce development, marketing strategy, digital advertising, and partnership initiatives. Swenson’s skills further strengthen the RocketBike team and will help the agency continue to deliver impressive results and successful outcomes for their clients.
Prior to joining RocketBike, Swenson spent 10 years in the music instrument industry. He served as the head of marketing for Gator Cases, where he was instrumental in launching numerous successful product lines, building a marketing team, and elevating their Amazon Vendor account to the top tier of their category. Previously, Swenson was CMO and Co-Founder of the award-winning startup Crush Drums & Percussion, where he successfully positioned the brand with respected boutique brick-and-mortar shops, best-in-class retailers, and a highly-engaged community. For nearly a decade prior to those endeavors, Swenson was a successful creative consultant serving clients in web development, branding, and creative content services.
“Mike is unbelievably talented with the creative, strategic, and technical skills to make any business successful,” said Max Greenhood, CEO and Founder of RocketBike. “He can see opportunities, create effective strategies, and lead the way to victory - making adjustments as needed. That is the fundamental value we provide, and Mike has mastered the art form. Especially in areas where we want to grow: product and brand development, go-to-market strategies, Amazon services, e-commerce, photography and video, and product marketing from digital goods to catalogs of brands and accessories. Bringing in Mike as a partner was the easiest decision I’ve made in the six years since founding RocketBike and I couldn’t be more excited for what comes next.”
“Joining RocketBike as a member of the executive team is the perfect next step in my career,” said Michael Swenson, CMO of RocketBike. “Aside from being a talented and innovative agency, they have built an incredible culture here. Max Greenhood and Casey Greenhood have consistently fostered a people-first approach with their teams and every client they engage. As a former client of RocketBike, I have experienced this first hand. That true spirit of unity is rare and I am honored to be a part of it. Together, we will take the agency and our clients to exciting new heights."
Swenson will be heading up the immediate expansion of RocketBike services to include management and consulting services for clients on the Amazon platform (Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Amazon Ads).
