the Bible is real and if it can help them in their daily lives.
CHARDON, Ohio (PRWEB) November 30, 2015
When Officer Jeremy Norton moves from small town to big city life, he hopes for a fresh start in the wake of a terrible loss. However, new challenges soon come his way and he is forced to revisit a God he’s been running from his entire life. To overcome, Jeremy must learn to trust in the Lord and open his heart to love once more.
Even though Jeremy is bitter and angry, a good heart lies within. With the help of Kayla, Lia and Dr. Foley, he’ll discover more inside himself and more to God than he ever thought possible.
When she was writing “Strengthened” (published by WestBow Press), author Michelle Rodriguez was inspired by hearing many wonder if “the Bible is real and if it can help them in their daily lives.” Using Philippians 4:13 as her basis, she wanted to write religious fiction that was a little grittier than most other entries in the genre.
“I want people to see that the Bible is relevant in today’s society,” Rodriguez explains. “I want my readers to see it is alive and active and able to help them no matter what they are currently going through or what they have gone through in the past, both the good things and the bad. God is in all of it.”
