Michigan Spinal Cord Injury Association Unveils New Website
TROY, Mich. (PRWEB) October 11, 2018 -- In an effort to update and revolutionize their online presence, the Michigan Spinal Cord Injury Association (MSCIA) has launched a brand new website. With the ever-changing internet landscape, MSCIA made an investment in providing their members and donors with a cutting-edge online experience.
“Our website was outdated. The look of it, the functionality of it, both were just way behind the times.” said Brett Pulte, acting Chapter Representative. “This new site is giving us tools and opportunities that we didn’t have before. I think that visitors to our site are going to be extremely happy with the updates that we have done to our look and navigation of the site.”
Along with updating the site’s look and feel, the resource list has been updated to provide people with spinal cord injuries, and their families, with links and phone numbers to trusted sources. The biggest addition to the site is the ability to make secure donations directly on the website.
“Accepting donations on the website is going to be a real game-changer for us. It gives our donors the ability to donate from literally anywhere in the world.”
The Michigan Spinal Cord Injury Association (MSCIA) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2009 with the purpose of enhancing and empowering the lives of those with spinal cord injury and disease through advocacy, education and research. The Michigan Spinal Cord Injury Association is the local chapter of the United Spinal Association, which hosts many national events including their Roll-on Capitol Hill advocacy initiative held in Washington, D.C. AmeriCare Medical, Inc. is the founding organization behind the MSCIA. With their extensive knowledge of care for people with disabilities, they are able to effectively give back to the community through this initiative.
