VP of Finance & Operations from Large Texas Based Microsoft Dynamics Partner Speaks on the Impact of Foreign Expansion
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- As part of their continuing professional development and education, the Houston Chapter of the Financial Executives International Organization offers a Summer Breakfast Series which focuses on offering members timely information relating to issue relevant to the local market.
The 2013 series included topics related to Operations, Trade and Customs, International Taxation, Transfer Pricing and the US Impact, and Compliance and Reporting, among other things.
Eric Khan, VP of Finance & Operations for Rand Group was invited to sit on the panel for the third session, which focused explicitly on Operations, Trade & Customs. Along with 3 other panel members, Khan discussed the topics of Import & Export, Lease & Transfer and Purchase of Property, Outsourcing, Anti-Corruption/FCPA, and Risk Management and Insurance. These interactive panel discussions were presented to senior management of expanding companies, and offered insight and considerations before moving into foreign markets.
