Travel back in time with The Big Band Hangar Dance on Saturday, February 15, 2020, in Virginia Beach.

Grab your dancing shoes because The Big Band Hangar Dance is back in the hangars of the Military Aviation Museum. The dance will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, and is a tribute to the veterans and vintage aircraft from the World Wars.

The Big Band Hangar Dance is a fundraiser for the Military Aviation Museum, and your ticket supports our mission to preserve historic aircraft and educate new generations about our military aviation heritage. The dance’s entertainment includes Grace Street Seven and Theresa Eaman. Silent auctions and a costume contest will be held over the course of the night, so sport your best vintage duds from roaring 20s to the high-flying 40s.

There are three different ticket options for a big dinner, the big dance, or both.

  • Dance Ticket – Includes entry to the dance and access to the cash bar. Dinner not included.
  • Dinner & Dance Ticket (on sale till Feb. 8th) – Includes a three-course meal, entry to the dance and access to the cash bar. Be serenaded by a live musical performance as you enjoy a gourmet meal amongst vintage airplanes. *
  • VIP Experience Add-on (on sale till Feb. 8th – Tickets must be purchased separately. Includes exclusive table, four bottles of wine, flowers for the table, and access to the cash bar.

*Please note that the Dinner & Dance Ticket does not include reserved seating and parties may be separated.

Doors open to the museum at 5:00 p.m., with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Swing the night away starting at 7:30 p.m. till 11:00 p.m.
