MilitaryRecord.org To Create Guide To Different Enlistment Strategies
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- MilitaryRecord.org is set to launch a guide that will explain the pros and cons of different ways of entering military service, the company announced yesterday.
“Many people don't realize it, but the way you sign up for the armed forces has a great effect on your career in the military,” a MilitaryRecord.com spokesman said. “For some people, just walking into an enlistment center is fine. But for others, different methods of signing up will help them have a more successful career.”
MilitaryRecord.org said the goal of their guide will be to make sure people understand all of their possible choices.
“Some people might be happy topping out at the sergeant level,” he said, “But if a person's goal is to achieve officer status, they may want to go to military college or sign up through ROTC rather than hoping to get invited to officer's training school. People need to know the impact their choices will have.”
The guide will be published on the MilitaryRecord.org site, and released through their social media channels and official blog, he said.
“We want to get this information out to as many people as possible so that they don't make the wrong choices when they decided to enter military service,” he said. “People have the right to know what they are getting into, and how they can boost their chances of advancement.”
The guide was put together with the help of former military recruitment officers, he said.
