Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt Attended TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders) Course Forcusing On Treatment Of Complex Cases Conducted By The Dawson Academy
Mason City, IA (PRWEB) March 20, 2017 -- Continued education in the dental field is a cornerstone of the staff at Mint Springs Dentistry. A recent trip to Chesapeake, VA by Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt provided hands on training on how to treat complex dental cases with predictable results and better understanding Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD).
This particular course was entitled, "Treatment Planning Functional Esthetic Excellence" and provided a programmed approach to predictably diagnose and treatment plan both simple to more difficult cases. Utilizing the standardized records discussed in the dental courses Functional Occlusion- from TMJ to Smile Design, each dentist was able to discover how to visualize optimum dentistry from an esthetic, functional, biological and structural perspective. The training assisted the class in how to apply the four treatment options: reshaping, repositioning, restoring and surgical correction, which are a critical component of step-by-step dental treatment planning checklists.
Continued education classes are routinely taught by The Dawson Academy. The Dawson Academy provides dental courses that for decades have proven to be the foundation for the successful practice of complete, predictable dentistry. The Academy teaches students the essential principles and skills for complete care with primary concentrations in dental occlusion, the temporomandibular joints and comprehensive esthetic restorative dentistry.
“By attending the advanced dental courses at The Dawson Academy I am able to provide complete dental care to our patients with predictable results and to better understand the temporomandibular joint, which is an integral part of the masticatory system,” states Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt. "Our patients can be assured that at Mint Springs Dentistry we are committed to advanced continuing education and to provide excellent dental care in a comfortable manner."
Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club and the Spears Study Club.
