Launch of 2014 Mission of Mercy Volunteer Schedule Announced by the Professional Protector® for Dentists with Florida’s First Mission of Mercy Event in Tampa
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Over the course of two days, the Florida MOM plans to achieve their ultimate goal of relieving dental pain for 1600 to 2000 patients. This event is free and open to the public regardless of age or income.
The Professional Protector Plan® for Dentists is geared up to travel around the country and help those in need by volunteering at various Mission of Mercy events. The 9 scheduled events the PPP will be participating in include: Florida, Alaska, Arkansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nebraska, Iowa, and Arizona. For detailed information about the events, visit the Mission of Mercy page on our website.
According to the Florida MOM website, 300+ Dentists, Dental Specialists, Registered Dental Hygienists, and Physicians along with 1000+ support volunteers will treat between 1600-2000 patients throughout the two-day event.
The Mission of Mercy has been lauded as one of the greatest charities nationwide and the PPP has experienced its greatness firsthand. For the PPP, attending these events is about lending a helping hand with patient registration, looking after small children, comforting patients who are nervous about receiving care and any other job that is needed of them. It is often hectic, but the PPP is happy to volunteer at MOM events just to see the overwhelming joy from patients as they receive dental care that they wouldn’t have been to obtain otherwise.
