As an adoptee and adoptive father, the importance of having a resource like Mixed Roots Foundation is very great…I look forward to not only giving back myself, but I will be able to help others who are touched by adoption for future generations to come.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 21, 2014
The Mixed Roots Foundation is proud to announce that it will be moving its global headquarters to Los Angeles from San Francisco, CA by the end of March. Mixed Roots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was founded in San Francisco in 2011 with a mission of creating awareness and raising funds for the unique, often unaffordable needs of adoptees and their families that are representative of the international, domestic, and foster care adoption experience. Mixed Roots Foundation will keep a regional office in San Francisco to help continue serving the local community and beyond.
“I believe moving to Los Angeles will not only help expand our reach of Mixed Roots Foundation, but will allow us to strengthen existing relationships as well as develop new partnerships with Hollywood in order to continue to grow both locally and globally”, stated Holly Choon Hyang Bachman, founder and president of Mixed Roots Foundation.
With the move, Mixed Roots Foundation will also welcome and name two new board officers as well as a new advisory chair whom will be charged with guiding the overall strategic direction of the foundation as well as assist in reaching out to garner further financial and community support.
