About the Author
M.J. Abrams is currently enjoying retirement after working for Ford Motor Company for 40 years. He agreed to take care of Chubby while his son was away working on a cruise ship. He couldn't bear the thought of having to give Jeffrey's lovable pet ferret to someone else. Besides, he had plenty of free time to spend with him. Abrams decided to write a children's book based on a true story about his son’s adventures and misadventures with the little critter.
