SICO® Incorporated Announces CEO Transition to Third Generation Leadership
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- The Board of Directors is proud to announce the promotion of Chris E. Wilson to Chief Executive Officer of SICO® Incorporated effective immediately. In addition to his new CEO responsibilities, Chris continues in his role as President of SICO® Inc. and CEO of SICO® America. Hal Wilson, whose father Kermit Wilson founded the company in 1951, continues as Executive Chairman of the Board and principal shareholder of the privately-held company. Hal has served as CEO since 1990 when his father passed the leadership reins to him.
Since joining SICO® in 1999, Chris has served in various capacities throughout the company becoming deeply involved in all aspects of the business. In his initial role, he developed a system to track and record manufacturing output to maximize production and profitability for SICO’s® South Pacific operations. He held leadership roles in the companies’ international and domestic offices as General Manager in Australia; President of SICO® America; President of the Asian Strategic Business Unit of Japan, Singapore and China; and Managing Director of SICO® Europe. Prior to joining SICO®, Chris served 12 years in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer.
In his expanded role, Chris will be responsible for the total direction of the business including establishing long- range goals and maximizing return on invested capital.

Hal will continue his dedication to the family company as Executive Chairman will be involved in major initiatives including acquisitions and divestitures. He also plans to enhance the company’s international business.

Chris graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mathematics. He resides with his wife Lisa and their dogs LuLu and Hector in Eden Prairie, MN.
