Our Apps are very popular among small and medium businesses — they have been used by more than 1.1 million businesses and consultants.
Foster City, CA (PRWEB) September 01, 2015
iBuildApp today announced that it will open-source all of its source code for iOS and Android mobile apps. This is the mobile app source code that iBuildApp has developed over the last 4.5 years. iBuildApp's iOS and Android apps are already available on GitHub for developers and used by mobile development community. More source code will be released soon.
“Today we are thrilled to announce that mobile app developers can see what is under the hood of these apps and use it to develop Android and iOS apps," said iBuildApp CEO Rafael Soultanov. "Our Apps are very popular among small and medium businesses — they have been used by more than 1.1 million businesses and consultants.”
The apps are built on top of iBuildApp's Do-It-Yourself platform that enables businesses and organizations to drag and drop mobile apps to get a mobile app running in minutes!
With the source code now available, mobile developers can better understand how iBuildApp mobile apps work. Seeing that can lead to ideas that developers can use to create new mobile apps for their customers. This also means more mobile app developers will be working on features that the market needs.
iBuildApp regularly releases solutions for mobile app developers. Previous releases include the release to open the source code for features (mobile widgets) and the Mobile SDK at http://ibuildapp.com/developers.help.php
Using iBuildApp, users can create custom app features such as their templates and widgets to upload to their app. “With this approach we believe our platform is much different than the rest of the “no coding required” or “app building platforms,” said Soultanov.
iBuildApp makes it easy to reuse or resell pre-made custom app designs and widgets. The ease of use allows non-technical app builders to simply drag and drop components into their apps. Using the iBuildApp platform, developers can build, test, and publish apps at http://ibuildapp.com/developers.php. Developers and designers can then sell their mobile features and design templates to businesses in the iBuildApp Marketplace.
“iBuildApp removes the barrier to entry in the mobile app building world for businesses and web developers. Using iBuildApp, businesses can create custom app features to upload to their app. With this approach we believe our platform is very different than any other similar service," said Soultanov.
Businesses have already built more than 1,300,000 apps on top of iBuildApp.
