Ramtech Wins AOD Award at Modular Building Institute Annual Conference
Mansfield, TX (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- Design-build commercial modular construction firm Ramtech Building Systems of Mansfield, Texas has announced that the company has received a first place 2014 Awards of Distinction honor in the Relocatable Modular Building Education Over 10,000 square foot category at the World of Modular conference, the Modular Building Institute's annual convention and trade show held March 21-24 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas. Ramtech added to its 18 previous Awards of Distinction trophies with a winning entry for the instructional and support facilities the company built for the West (TX) ISD. Located on the existing West Middle School site, the interim campus is part of the first phase of The Restore West ISD building program which comprises 28 separate structures including 17 new relocatable modular buildings that were designed, manufactured, and installed by Ramtech. The 69,776 square foot modular construction project includes three 10-classroom buildings, four computer and science labs, two locker room buildings, an administrative office, cafeteria, band hall, and a life skills building. According to Gary White, Ramtech's vice president of sales, “This AOD award is a recognition of Ramtech's ability to quickly execute large-scale relocatable modular building projects that are both cost-effective and high-quality." Last year the company also placed first in the same category with the modular school campus that was built for charter school operator KIPP Delta Public Schools in Blytheville, Arkansas.
