Amazon Alexa Fund and Deutsche Telekom Fueling Growth of Mojio's Open Platform for Connected Cars with $15M Investment Round
Palo Alto, CA & Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) December 12, 2016 -- Mojio, the leading open platform for connected cars, today announced the closing of a $15M USD Series A round of financing. This new funding will further the global adoption of Mojio’s hardware agnostic, cloud-based connected car platform.

Winning with Wireless Operators
By providing all the elements needed to quickly launch secure, branded connected car apps and services, Mojio has positioned itself as the platform of choice within the cellular industry.
This funding fuels Mojio as the company supports rapid user growth via its operator partners, including T-Mobile in the United States. Mojio provides the platform and mobile app behind T-Mobile SyncUP DRIVE, the Un-carrier’s all-in-one connected car solution that launched nationwide on November 18th.
Mojio is actively hiring engineers for cutting edge technology roles in Palo Alto, Prague and Vancouver to support additional launches with wireless operators in 2017.
Strategically Aligned Investors
The additional investment from Amazon’s Alexa Fund bolsters Mojio’s vision to give every car a voice. Amazon Alexa and Mojio have been working together for more than a year, with Mojio developing one of the first Alexa skills for connected cars. That skill made it possible to ask Alexa questions about your connected car, such as, “Alexa, ask Mojio how much fuel my car has.” With this investment, the Alexa Fund is helping fuel the development of Mojio’s second generation Alexa Skill, which will harness the vast amount of automotive data being collected by Mojio’s open platform and bring new capabilities to Alexa.
