Money Doctor Neil "Doc" Gallagher Gives Back During the Holidays with Free Annual Screening
The founder, president, and CEO of Gallagher Financial Group Inc. treats the public to a free holiday showing of "It's a Wonderful Life."
DALLAS, Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Money Doctor Neil Gallagher, founder, president, and CEO of Gallagher Financial Group Inc., celebrated the holidays on November 29th by having Gallagher Financial Group Inc. lease out the legendary Palace Theater in Grapevine for a free showing of the classic "It's a Wonderful Life."
"We've been in business for 35 years," explains Gallagher, "and we have shown this film for several years as well." The annual gift came with free hot dogs, candy, soft drinks, and popcorn for attending guests. The price of admission? Bringing a guest and holiday cheer, according to the flyer.
"Our continued success and growth is due to the support of thousands throughout Texas, primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area," states Gallagher, "This is our way, during the holiday season, of saying thank you."
Gallagher explains that the company chooses the James Stewart classic every year because it showcases values that have made America great: Love of God, love of family, love of country, hard work, delayed gratification, and a determination to never give up. These values come to a crescendo in the movie, right at Christmas Eve, and are very important to Neil Gallagher himself.
Grapevine, Texas is the Christmas capital of Texas, and the Palace Theater is a refurbished 1950's theater with all the sights, sounds, and smells of a nostalgic time in America. Throughout the year, Gallagher Financial Group also leases the theater for additional special events, inviting the community to each one. For example, "The Longest Day," was shown on Memorial Day to celebrate the military, and "Yankee Doodle Dandy" was shown on July 4th to celebrate American patriotism. After the movie, guests can stroll Main Street and experience Grapevine's version of Bedford Falls.
