Over the past 6 years we have also adjusted our price points to appeal to the women in our area that want high quality fashion without a high price tag.

Monkee’s of Madeira, an upscale ladies boutique that features designer shoes, clothing and accessories, will re-open after renovations with a special weekend event Friday - Sunday, March 4-6, at 6928 Miami Avenue. The event is open to the public and guests are invited to stop by to see the new decor and merchandise.

The Grand Re-Opening Celebration will include trunk shows by Camilyn Beth, Jack Rogers and Mollybeads. Customers will also enjoy a gift with purchase while supplies last and a chance to enter to win a special giveaway. The Jack Rogers collection will include monogram styles, available in-store exclusively at Monkee’s. The trunk shows will continue until Sunday, March 6.

The store will re-open with new designers such as Southern Tide, Akola Project, LaRoque, Tori Richard and Sheila Fajl – just to name a few. In addition to a new mix of merchandise, the store will now be conveniently open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and new hours on Sunday from 12 – 4 p.m.

Store Owner Liz Ziegler is a licensee of North Carolina-based Monkee’s, an organization that currently has independently owned and operated locations across nine states. The boutiques have a loyal following throughout the southeast and beyond. Established in 1995, Monkee’s was built on a love of fashion, and grown through a focus on personal customer relationships.

“Being a part of Monkee's helps us discover brands that aren't typical in the Midwest. My mother and I also do the buying together, so we have items for a very wide age range of customers. Over the past 6 years we have also adjusted our price points to appeal to the women in our area that want high quality fashion without a high price tag,” said Ziegler.

Gleaming white cabinetry, signature chandeliers and the lounge-friendly shoe galleries are all staples in a Monkee’s store. However, each location has a personality of its own and owner Liz Ziegler is excited to reveal the fresh look of her store to her current and new customers. At Monkee’s of Madeira, the store combines an inviting atmosphere with a commitment to making shopping fun.
