The Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists (PAADS) announced today the agenda and guest speakers for its upcoming annual Athlete Development Summit. The Summit, which includes a daylong Research Symposium, is one of the top gatherings of global sports leaders and experts dedicated to the profession of athlete development and the overall well being of professional and collegiate athletes.
The PAADS 2018 Athlete Development Summit will be held August 15-17 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. More than 100 attendees from nearly every corner of men’s and women’s sports – professional leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, NRL, WWE), teams, governing bodies (ACC, ATP, LPGA, NASCAR, USOC, WTA), player unions, collegiate sports, health, science and academia -- are expected. The Research Symposium will be held August 17 as part of the Summit.
The 2018 Summit has a comprehensive agenda covering a variety of important and timely issues and featuring several prominent guest speakers. They include:
