Danger features unique products from local artisans including gifts, home furnishings and art that has a bit of an edge or unique flair and frequently a retro vibe that I feel is in sync with my work.

The photographic creations of Michelee Scott (http://www.mscott-photography.com) are now available at Danger, a destination shop on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The placement comes just in time for Bainbridge downtown’s Girls Night Out, which next takes place Thursday, December 5 from 4pm to 10pm. In other news, the artist has begun preparations for GBK's Luxury Gift Lounge for the 2014 Golden Globes, where her photography will be showcased on display and her photo note cards included in celebrity swag bags.

Michelee resides on Bainbridge Island. She approached Danger to carry her work because of the shop’s eclectic vibe and its welcoming, energetic environment, which engages visitors and encourages browsing and shopping. In addition to Michelee’s fine art prints, Danger stocks her custom photographic printed accent pillows, market bags and evening clutches and can take custom orders.

"Danger features unique products from local artisans including gifts, home furnishings and art that has a bit of an edge or unique flair and frequently a retro vibe that I feel is in sync with my work," said Michelee. "Everything I am supplying to the store is either made locally or in the United States. Also, I love that it is a woman-owned and operated business. Danger has been extremely supportive of my work and I couldn't be more pleased to be partnering with them. "

Next on the horizon for Michelee is GBK’s Luxury Gift Lounge in Honor of the 2014 Golden Globe Nominees & Presenters, taking place January 10-11, 2014 at an exclusive location in Los Angeles, California. There, she will have on display at The Artisan Group® exhibit her photograph "Tree of Light," while her photo note cards will be included in celebrity swag bags. The Artisan Group is a California-based arts promotion organization whose mission is spreading the word about the handcrafted movement.

Michelee says she chose "Tree of Life" for its universal appeal, noting, "The dramatic, bare tree back lit by the sun and the striated clouds all come together to create a ‘Wow!’ feeling and because the photograph is printed on metallic paper, the colors really pop. There is a three-dimensional quality that makes you feel like you are there."

The photo note card sets will be nestled inside much sought after The Artisan Group® swag bags, which are handed out to celebrities attending the Lounge. Each 5" x 5" photo card has a matching envelope and features images available only through Michelee’s studio. The cards, which are blank inside, are printed on high quality paper and are ideal for gift box cards, thank you notes and more. They can also be framed in groups, to use as small space decor.
