Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts Race to Strong Showing at LOORRS Season Opener
Compton, California (PRWEB) March 27, 2014 -- Greg Adler, president and CEO of 4 Wheel Parts, earned second and third place finishes in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series season opener last weekend in Arizona. Adler finished third in the Pro 2 Unlimited and captured second in the Pro 4 division, driving for Team 4 Wheel Parts, which represents the prominent retailer of off-road truck and Jeep parts. Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler had perfect weather and racing fans gathered to see trucks, UTVs and buggies compete on the mile long dirt track.
The Round 1 Pro 2 Unlimited race on Saturday, March 22 got underway after the opening ceremony and driver Bryce Menzies grabbed the early lead with Adler speeding his way to the third spot. After starts and stops and several lead changes, Brian Deegan finished second with Adler’s #10 truck behind him finishing third.
“Team 4 Wheel Parts opened up the LOORRS season at Wild Horse Pass with two podiums,” says Adler. He led the first half of the Pro 4 race on Saturday until a broken sway bar slowed him to fifth place. Adler was able to rebound on Sunday in Round 2 of the Pro Comp 4 race to propel his Pro Comp truck to a second place finish.
Capturing second behind winner Ricky Johnson gives him something to build on in upcoming LOORRS events. “It’s a great start and something I’m excited to improve on moving forward,” he says. “I relied on my Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 tires to dig into the Wild Horse dirt track and they didn’t disappoint.” The Team 4 Wheel Parts site has more action and a video recap of the race weekend.
