MugShots.us.org To Give Consumers Access To Multiple Mugshots When Available
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- MugShots.us.org is expanding their criminal history reports to give people access to all available mugshots for a given person when they perform a background check, the company announced yesterday.
“Initially we were simply providing people with the most recent mugshot,” a MugShots.us.org spokesman said. “But people have contacted us asking if they can get additional mugshots. We realized there was no reason not to, so now we are going to add them to the reports.”
Mugshots are taken every time someone gets arrested for a crime, and the majority of criminals are taken into custody more than once, he said. Therefore, many people have multiple mugshots.
“In some cases it can be hard for someone who looks at a mugshot to make sure it is the person they are looking up, or simply someone who looks very similar,” he said. “The police, after all, are not portrait artists. But if people can look at multiple mugshots, they'll be more likely to make sure they have the right information about the right person.”
There will be no additional charge for the extra mugshots, he said.
“The same sources that provide us with one mugshot can provide us with multiple ones,” he said. “It's just a matter of putting a little more information into our database. We are willing to do that for our valued customers.”
