I'm going back to my southern roots…

Just in time for Lent 2016, Mugshots Grill & Bar announces their Limited Time Only Menu. Drawing inspiration from the Lenten season and southern roots, Mugshots Grill & Bar Corporate Chef Eileen Bennett is featuring 4 menu offerings (3 being Lent friendly) at select locations January 18 through April 30.

Comeback Wedge Salad: Fresh iceberg lettuce topped with boiled eggs, crumbled bacon, Comeback Sauce, fried jalapeños, and crispy beer battered onion rings… 7.59

Ahi Tacos: Grilled ahi tuna topped with spicy jalapeño slaw, fresh pico, and chili sour cream sauce all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla right off the grill… 9.99

3 Meat Gumbo: Shrimp, Chicken, and Sausage Gumbo served with rice and garnished with green onions… 6.95

Blackened Mahi: Blackened Mahi Mahi smothered with fresh grilled shrimp and a spicy creole mustard cream sauce. Served with a side of white rice and corn on the cob rubbed with chili oil and flame grilled… 12.95

“We’re using only the freshest seafood on the market to bring this creative southern flair to our menu.” said Bennett. “I’m going back to my southern roots by using ingredients such as spicy creole mustard, comeback sauce, fried jalapeños, and fresh cole slaw. My goal is that this menu makes you feel like you’re sitting at your grandma’s dinner table.”
