Vacation Place Rentals Announces Events for the Panama City Beach Seafood & Music Festival 2013
Panama City Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 05, 2013 -- Vacation Place Rentals, the premier source for vacation rentals and management in Panama City Beach, announces that the 2013 PCB Seafood & Music Festival will take place from Oct. 17-Oct. 20 and includes a line-up of exciting events for foodies, wine connoisseurs, fishermen and music fans.
The fall event celebrates all that is best about Panama City Beach, combining Gulf-fresh coastal cuisine that’s known around the world with award-winning local and international wines to create an exciting experience for the palette totally unique to the beach towns of North Florida.
It begins this year with the Sip & Savor Wine Dinner at Firefly restaurant, where Executive Chef Paul Stellato will offer up samplings of exquisitely prepared seafood presented with hand-selected wines to set the tone for the rest of the PCB Seafood & Music Festival.
There will be more wine and seafood the next day with UNwineD at the Pier Park amphitheater, followed by two straight nights of outdoor concerts featuring musical favorites like Better than Ezra, Collective Soul, Foreigner, and Abigail Rose.
Throughout the Panama City Beach Seafood & Music Festival, several local restaurants – including Firefly, Fishale Taphouse & Grill and Runaway Bay Caribbean Grill – will be serving special seafood dishes in honor of the event.
On Saturday, Oct. 19, a variety of fishing competitions begin at Capt. Anderson’s Marina, located just minutes many of Vacation Place Rentals premium vacation condos on Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach.
Divers will be competing for the biggest catches of lionfish, redfish and others in the 2nd Annual Lionfish “Lion-Tamer” Dive Tournament; meanwhile, fisherman will head out for the Deep Sea & Bay Fishing Tournament.
There will also be activities for children, such as crab races and scavenger hunts.
