The Tampa Bay Business Journal has listed Classified Advertising Plus, LLC, (http://myclassifiedads.net) as No. 20 on its List of the Top 100 women-owned, Bay area companies. The firm, known in the trade as MCA, was founded by Blaire Fanning, who is also its chief executive officer.
It’s not the first time Fanning’s business acumen has been recognized. During her 30-plus years as a media maven she has earned top awards for successful advertising marketing programs in sales and media development. Fanning has built her reputation on savvy media buying and marketing campaigns, with fruitful excursions into radio, print, TV, and the Internet.

In order to qualify for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s List, a company had to be more than 50 percent woman-owned and headquartered in the Tampa Bay area. Businesses were ranked by 2013 revenue. The Largo-based Great Bay Distributors topped The List, which was published in August.
It had already been a memorable year for Fanning and crew. Back in March, she fused MCA with publishing rep powerhouse Russell Johns Associates (http://russelljohns.com). During phase one, she combined the two separate operations under one roof at a single state-of-the art facility at 5020 W. Linebaugh Ave., Suite 210, in Tampa. During phase two of the transition, the web presence of both MCA and RJA were upgraded.
