myPotential at Home Named a Top Vote Getter in Bethesda Magazine's Annual Best of Bethesda Readers' Poll
ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) January 15, 2019 -- myPotential at Home–A National Lutheran Service has been named a top vote getter in Bethesda Magazine’s annual Best of Bethesda Readers’ Poll in the best of home care category. myPotential at Home was ranked second amongst five home care agencies in the county. This is the first year myPotential at Home has earned a spot in the poll.
myPotential at Home opened in the Montgomery County market in 2016 after piloting in Winchester, Virginia. The Maryland arm of the organization offers personal wellness and care services to seniors throughout the region, allowing them to age in the comfort of their home instead of moving to a retirement community.
Executive Director, Denise Kozlowski, RN said “We’ve been in this market a relatively short time, so we were surprised and overjoyed to be named in the Best of Bethesda poll.” Continued, Kozlowski said, “I really owe this to my staff. We have a rigorous hiring process and our personal care assistants are the best of the best. They do not do this to earn a paycheck. They do this because their hearts are drawn to helping seniors age in the way they want and to stay in the comfort of their homes.”
A sampling of services offered by myPotential at Home includes doctor’s appointment coordination, arrangement of transportation, ongoing health and wellness assessments, medication management and prescription refill, wound and skin care, disease management including diabetes, and assistance with everyday tasks such as grocery shopping and household errands.
myPotential at Home is licensed as a residential service agency by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office of Health Care Quality, license number R4007P.
