Mystic Traveler will create many firsts in movie-making history through cutting-edge strategies in film making and film marketing.

With funding as a necessary first step to get films made, current economic conditions don't make that easy. Filmmakers have become more innovative in their fundraising tactics, so independent film-makers have embraced methods like crowdfunding. As this alternative fundraising method continues to take the independent film community by storm, the Mystic Traveler Movie Trilogy production team has decided to ride with this impressive storm and launch its first fundraising campaign on Indiegogo.com.

Lachlen Paul French (CEO) and David J. Ziegler (EVP) of Enthios Entertainment have embraced the new strategy of initial capital-raise in setting out to make movie history with a their epic trilogy, Mystic Traveler on Indiegogo.com. This grand-scale project is poised to make movie history in more than one respect. For example, all three films will be shot concurrently and premier within the same year. According to French, “Mystic Traveler will create many firsts in movie-making history through cutting-edge strategies in film making and film marketing.”

The Mystic Traveler Movie Trilogy will Storify the missing years of Jesus’ life that the Bible does not reveal. Unknown to most people, there is a large cache of oral history and written literature from many countries on these “lost years.” This information, along with detailed research of ancient scrolls unearthed in recent archeological finds, has been studied and gathered from to create these three epics.

As a biblical author, scholar and historian, Lachlen French and his capable team will undertake this estimable project in good faith to the literature. The essence of the trilogy presents a real person from the literary view, and, of note, within the ancient “Hero-Story” form. Audiences will be able to envision a persona with warm gravitas, power, affection, charisma and insight, revealed in plausible adventures, travel and remarkable interactions.

French hails from a long line of writers, and has authored five books on metaphysics, world history, quantum science, spiritual history and higher states of consciousness. French, Ziegler and their talented team of filmmakers and professionals have set out to create a masterpiece that will be the most authentic presentation of Jesus' lifetime in film history.

The Enthios team will provide their audience the chance to vicariously feel and experience this heroic life in high adventure in three stunning films, bathed in astounding special effects, and answering questions such as: What events composed his youth? Which issues challenged him? How far and wide did he travel? The story lines are accurate where intersecting with Scripture. Through scholarship and faithfulness, this trilogy constructs a potential life of ‘Yeshua’ (his actual Hebrew name) by encountering events ordinary people might also experience during his lifetime.

Indiegogo is a major player in the emerging crowd sourcing market. Founded in 2008, the website helps small to large projects raise funds through its marketing service. Indiegogo gives artists a set span of days to raise funds. Enthios’ initial campaign has a 40-day fundraising window. Contributions start at $1, providing a way for people of all means and beliefs to be a part of movie-making history. According to Ziegler, “Success of these campaigns is based, in part, on visits to the Indiegogo page, and sharing the project through social media, which enhances visibility on the Indiegogo network as well as search engines. Even a small percentage of the 15 million people visiting our Indiegogo campaign page on a regular basis provides an ample pool of supporters to ensure success for Mystic Traveler.”
