The road to enlightenment is filled with perils, some physical, while some more ethereal in nature. In truth such a journey takes a toll upon a person’s soul and only the most determined seekers would be able to finish it. In "At The End Of the Day" author Nagual writes about such a journey of self discovery.
"At the End of the Day" is the journey of one man named Jack who searches to find his way and understand the meaning of his life experiences. During his journey he makes friends who are as like-minded as he. Jack takes a trip to India where he discovers variety of things, especially the fact that people just want to connect with other people who think like them. From Jack’s point of view humans are still nomadic mammals except for the fact that humanity is searching for something greater with advanced technology.
As Jack ponders on so many things throughout his journey and people he meets, he’s troubled about the race issue in the world and how dynamic it has become throughout the Diasporas of the human journey. Jack wonders if human being’s emotional knowledge will ever catch up to their intellectual knowledge, and the answer to his conundrum still remains to be seen.
Nagual (from the Indian Nag-Baal), who takes his named from Middle American Indian lore for a sorcerer believed to be capable of transforming himself into animal form, is indeed a deeply spiritual guide for discerning readers. "At the End of the Day" readers will have had a truly transformative reading experience that sheds light on the many things that once stood in darkness.
