Nancy Nielson Redd Weaves Tale of Murder, Mayhem in Red Rock Country
Gilbert, Ariz. (PRWEB) March 29, 2014 -- Life, love and friendship survive and grow despite infidelity, betrayal, decades-old secrets and even murder in Nancy Nielson Redd’s new mystery, “The Canyon's Edge” (published by Trafford Publishing).
Maggie is a 47-year-old personnel director and counselor struggling with feelings of self-doubt after being left by her husband of 25 years. Her two best friends invite her to a retreat in Sedona, Ariz., where she expects to find rest and relaxation.
When Maggie stumbles over a corpse in Sedona, she uncovers other murders that reach from Mexico to Sedona to the Navajo reservation. Realizing that her friends have problems much deeper than her own, Maggie is determined to try to solve the murders, and her commitment becomes the key to getting her life back on track.
An excerpt from “The Canyon’s Edge”:
“Life is so fluid, so changing, not everyone can live in a remote canyon untouched by modern life. Not many want to. I thought about the ambiguity of the peacefulness surrounding me, reflecting that life for the Navajo is not always as tranquil as it seemed that morning.”
