National Association of Professional Women Announces Gina Nga Le, Principal at Excelsius Academy, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Gina Nga Le is recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

NAPW honors Gina Nga Le as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Le is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in education. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.

In 2005, Ms. Le founded Excelsius Academy to provide a private academic institution that “empowers students to excel, not through rote memorization and lecturing, but through dialogue, discussion, and application.”

As the Principal of Excelsius Academy, Ms. Le is dedicated to offering students a nurturing environment with a robust curriculum where they have the opportunity to be the best they can be. Since its inception, the school has helped the children enroll in its unique programs to succeed academically, creatively and socially. Guided by Ms. Lee and her staff of highly qualified teachers, many of whom are graduates of the top US colleges and universities, children at Excelsius thrive as they learn.

From innovative programs such as the annual televised Spelling Bee, Debate and Math Competition to college admissions workshops and SAT Boot Camp to homework tutoring, Excelsius’ students also benefit from a supportive environment that fosters self-confidence and creativity, as well as academic excellence. As a result, many have been accepted into elite universities around the country such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, MIT, John Hopkins, University of San Francisco, NYU and Columbia.
