Paula McLarren-Johnson, M.B.A., B.B.A., selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Paula McLarren-Johnson as a 2016-2017 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in accounting. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Beginning her career in finance as a Teller at Chase Bank, Paula McLarren-Johnson worked her way through the industry honing her skills and expanding her industry knowledge. After several years as Accounting Program Manager, working for MasterCard, she founded her own company, McLarren Accounting & Bookkeeping in January 2015.

“I am a passionate and determined Corporate Accountant with over ten years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting,” Ms. McLarren-Johnson said. “I have the ability to produce quality work under strict deadlines and I am capable of adapting to ensure a seamless transition during change. I excel at working across departments to resolve issues and improve processes.”

As Company Founder, Ms. McLarren-Johnson provides accounting services for small businesses and individuals, converts manual systems to automated systems, prepares financial statements and general ledgers and is skilled in cash flow management. She touts expertise in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance, Variance Analysis, US GAAP Compliance and foreign currency accounting.

In addition to earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Ms. McLarren-Johnson is a Certified Bookkeeper and Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified.
