National Association of Professional Women Inducts Mary Cline, Accounting Instructor, Rock Valley College, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Mary Cline as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in accounting. Mary Cline brings years of hands-on experience as an Accountant and business person to her role as a full-time Accounting Instructor at Rock Valley College, a two-year college located in Rockford, IL. Teaching there for nearly ten years, Ms. Cline instructs and mentors students in the classroom and via online courses. She also is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Cardinal Stritch University and Upper Iowa University, where she teaches accounting and public administration courses, respectively.
Prior to embarking on a teaching career, Ms. Cline , a Licensed Private Detective, was Co-Owner of Crossover Investigations, Inc., a private detective agency. A true entrepreneur, she also founded Midwest Small Business Accounting & Tax Service, where she provided clients with full-service accounting services for more than eight years.
Passionate about using her skills to give back to the community, Ms. Cline is a Trainer for the Goodwill tax program.. She obtained a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management, specializing in Accounting at Walden University. Ms. Cline is involved with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Managerial Accountants (IMA) and the American Accounting Association (AAA).
