NAPW honors Samantha Hudson, CPA at McBride-Manley & Company, P.C. as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in accounting with this prestigious distinction. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and more than 300 Local Chapters.
A CPA, Ms. Hudson is a member of the Professional Staff at McBride-Manley & Company, P.C., which specializes in accounting, auditing, and tax. In her role, Ms. Hudson works diligently to provide services that will best serve the needs of clients.
“The most rewarding thing about my profession is being able to help clients with their problems and assist them with their plans for the future,” says Ms. Hudson whose goal is to be more than just a staff accountant and a CPA, she wants to become involved with her community in a way that will make a difference.
Ms. Hudson was the recipient of the Public Service Award from the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants for her work in incorporating and applying for tax exemption for the Anchor Bay Community Giving Tree and New Baltimore Fire Fighter's Association. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Women's Tax Association. Ms. Hudson has a Master degree in Accounting from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business.
