National Association of Professional Women Inducts Dora Mae Hughes, Owner, Opiq Adventures, LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Ms. Hughes is the proud Owner of Opiq Adventures, LLC. Originally from the Kaweamuit tribe of Mary’s Igloo, AK, she is an expert in the cultural and historical background of Alaska. Opiq Advenures was created to share the beauty of her home state.

Aside from her career, Ms. Hughes is currently involved with Mary’s Igloo Native Corporation (MINC) as a Board Director. She is also the MINC Director Representative for Unaatuq, LLC, which owns Pilgrim Hot Springs and has served on the Teller Traditional Council and Norton Sound Health Corporation Board of Directors. She is drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as the Gulkana Chapel, Copper Center for Senior Citizens and donates to the Quyanna Care Center.
