The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Sandra Simpson as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in the U.S military. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

When joining the U.S military, Sandra Simpson was offered a position in the logistics department in the medical field. Shortly after, she discovered she excelled in all tasks and enjoyed the satisfaction of achieving the best solutions for customer care.
Since August 2007, Ms. Simpson has been responsible for all medical logistics that are managed in the Defense Logistics Agency for various countries such as Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Her exceptional skills include managing multiple computer systems to locate and track various items, along with the ability to interact at multiple levels with consumers, suppliers and staff at assorted headquarter levels.
As a civilian member of the DLA team, Ms. Simpson mastered the task of leading a team that circulated medical necessities and other items into Liberia during the Ebola outbreak. In addition to her passion for helping others and sending crucial items to remote locations, Ms. Simpson has a strong interest in photography. At the end of this year, retirement is upcoming for Ms. Simpson yet she will continue to grow through the retired military community while working to start her own photography business.
