NAPW honors Deborah Brandon as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Brandon is recognized with this prestigious distinction for her leadership in business. “My husband was in the industry in another state. When we moved back to our hometown, we realized there weren’t many alarm companies in the area,” said Ms. Brandon. “So we founded Alert Alarm Systems.”

That was in 1984. Although she was new to the industry, Ms. Brandon didn’t waste any time learning every aspect of running the business. Now, as Vice President, she continues to wear many hats and oversees the day-to-day operations of a multitude of departments including marketing, finance, human resources and much more. “I take care of anything that needs taking care of!,” she said.“Our immediate future goal is to develop a showroom.”

Alert Alarm Systems specializes in residential, commercial and industrial alarm systems. Its in-house, 24-hour central monitoring station handles a vast array of services including fire, burglary, panic, medical, temperature and environmental processes.
