An anger management expert, behavioral health specialist, clinical mental health counselor and online professor, Dr. Vicki D. Coleman is internationally recognized and respected for her work in the fields of mental health, counseling, education and research, among others.
Dr. Coleman’s current roles include President & CEO of The Coleman Group and The Anger Doctor, as well as Clinical Director at Glass House Counseling Agency, LLC. At these firms, Dr. Coleman uses the skills she has honed to provide services and research for individuals, families, institutions and organizations in the areas of anger management, addiction and substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and conflict resolution. She conducts national and international workshops, develops programs, and evaluates institutions for accreditation.
In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Dr. Coleman, a former tenured professor at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, has held a number of positions in higher education, mental health, social services, criminal justice, food and beverage, and transportation, including at the State University of New York, Northwestern University, Educational Testing Service and American Airlines.
Dr. Coleman’s research includes career development, vocational psychology, sports counseling, addictions, military families, and multicultural and diverse populations. She has several international and national refereed publications in these areas, including a book and book chapters. Dr. Coleman is an active member of numerous professional associations, and holds several licenses and certifications. Always interested in broadening her fields of expertise and expanding her scope of knowledge, Dr. Coleman is currently pursuing opportunities in the fields of sports counseling and behavioral profiling.
