National Association of Professional Women Inducts Kelly A. Miller, AIA, NCARB, Associate, Senior Project Manager, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 19, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kelly A. Miller as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in architecture. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Kelly Miller is an NCARB-certified, Registered Architect in New Jersey with an accomplished 17-plus-year career in architecture. In March 2007, she joined the Philadelphia firm of Francis Cauffman as a Project Architect and was promoted to Associate in October 2011.
While her past experience primarily focused on educational facilities design, Ms. Miller has dedicated the last 11 years of her professional experience to healthcare design, including new construction and complex, and multi-phased renovation / alteration projects.
“I enjoy collaborating with my clients and end users throughout the design process and discovering creative opportunities and solutions to their architectural challenges,” said Ms. Miller. “I find healthcare design to be constantly challenging and changing; creativity is always required.”
In her role as Senior Project Manager, Ms. Miller develops the method and framework in which all projects will be delivered. She covers every phase from planning to execution of the contract for construction, including all aspects of project delivery and fiscal management. A born leader, she supervises the design team of architects, designers, planners, interior designers, engineers and other consultants to ensure that each project is executed efficiently and on time.
Ms. Miller is an active member of the Philadelphia AIA Women in Architecture Committee, which focuses on promoting the development and leadership of women design professionals. She is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, which qualifies her for licensure in any other state.
