National Association of Professional Women Inducts Lisa Meyers, Owner of Gwendalysa Arts and Antiques, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 08, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Lisa Meyers as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in internet sales. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Lisa into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “She is a great example of how passion can lead to new pathways to success.”
Lisa Meyers has always had an interest in vintage and antique items. She has taken the bold leap of turning her passion into a successful career path. Gwendalysa Arts and Antiques features items ranging from the 1800’s, Art Deco, and mid-century to the 1970’s. There is no limitation to what she will collect and discover and offer buyers. She has a variety of eclectic, unique, home décor, fashion, fine china and kitchen items, including tools and knives.
Ms. Meyers has the privilege of calling her profession an enjoyable activity. “I never know what I will discover or what is waiting in some deep, dark crevice, forgotten chest or in the back of a shelf that’s been neglected,” she said. Whether it is at a flea market, yard sale or estate sale, or found in a friend’s or family’s home, she searches and comes across unique items and one-of-a-kind treasures.
With an account on Etsy, Ms. Meyer’s shares the items she finds nationally. She is, however, very particular about which items she collects. She normally does not restore any item except for polishing jewelry and makes a concerned effort to collect items in good to excellent condition. Her goal is to find people who will treasure the items again and use their imagination as to where it came from.
