National Association of Professional Women Inducts Susan Badertscher, Owner of The Candy Print Shop, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 09, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Susan Badertscher as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. With more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Susan with this honor for the important work she is doing,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Together with her husband, she has created a valuable business enterprise for her community.”
Susan Badertscher is the owner of The Candy Print Shop, located outside of Springfield, OH, a business that was inspired by both her mother and mother-in-law. Ms. Badertscher and her husband are both justifiably proud of the mothers they had. “It was a normal thing for us growing up to have all these special treats to enjoy on a regular basis,” said Ms. Badertscher, who grew up in a country home with a mother who was always baking. Her husband was also raised by a mother who loved to bake.
Today, she enjoys seeing her customers’ appreciation of her home-baked products that are based on family recipes. At The Candy Print Shop, customers are presented with custom printed chocolate lollipops, Belgian chocolate truffles, homemade cookies, pies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, chocolate-covered fruit, homemade fudge, buckeyes, pretzels and chocolate. She is responsible for not only preparing the items, but also manages administrative tasks such as printing, marketing, sales and contacting customers. Ms. Badertscher always knew what she wanted to do. It is her goal to not let this tradition end as she continues to bake and serve her community the same delicious treats she and her husband enjoyed growing up. The store’s website is filled with compliments and gratitude from local customers and the business continues to thrive.
