I’m pleased to recognize Amy with this important honor. Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Amy Stoodt as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in consulting. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Amy with this important honor,” says NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

When Ms. Stoodt graduated college, she had the opportunity to work in the oil and gas industry and immediately fell in love with her job. She has spent her entire career feeding this passion and learning all she can about the field. In 2014, Ms. Stoodt made the decision to start her own company and use the skills she gained working for owners, operators and engineering firms over the past 25+ years. This background has given her the ability to understand the oil and gas industry, which makes her a true leader for her own company.

“From a professional perspective, I feel my biggest accomplishment has been in the mentoring and development of employees, which has helped enable them to move on to more advanced positions,” said Ms. Stoodt. Through her own experiences, Ms.
Stoodt knows the benefits of advancing in your career, and developing strong assets and valuable relationships with those along the way.

Ms. Stoodt’s path has not been without challenges. She has found setting new paths for young women in her industry and moving every few years to take advantage of an opportunity to lead diversified teams to be difficult. However, her reward is in overcoming these difficulties, learning from the experiences and being successful in the assignments that were put on her path.
