The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kelly White as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As CEO of Villa Esperanza Services, Kelly White owns the only agency in the San Gabriel Valley to offer a full range of programs for individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities. The nonprofit organization serves those with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, mental retardation, epilepsy, schizophrenia, brain disorders, speech disorders, cognitive disorders and other disabilities within Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
“We believe that each child, adult and senior who we serve should be able to take complete advantage of their capabilities and live full lives as productive members in their community. At every stage of their journey, we provide education, training and support,” she says on the company’s website.
Ms. White has the knowledge and expertise to help change the lives of children and adults with autism, Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. She and the staff at Villa Esperanza Services recognize the significance of offering additional opportunities for people with special needs. They value and know the importance of interaction, access and integrating into their community. Ms. White proudly sponsors additional activities including Kiwanis Aktion Club, Civitan Special Friends Club, Special Olympics and community social activities.
