National Association of Professional Women Inducts Michele Szymborski, CEO/Founder of Make Healthy Fit, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Michele Szymborski as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Michele into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Seven years ago, Michele Szymborski was overweight and suffered from complications of Type 2 Diabetes and obesity. Realizing she had to make drastic changes to her lifestyle, Ms. Szymborski sought the help of a health coach. “I set out, with determination, to avoid needing insulin to control my blood sugar levels,” she said. “Two-year’s later, I had shed 115 pounds, ditched diabetic and blood pressure medications, and became enlightened by the body’s natural ability to heal itself. My health transformation led me to my life’s purpose.”
Encouraged by what she had accomplished and inspired to help other women like herself, Ms. Szymborski founded Make Healthy Fit, Inc. Using skills she has honed throughout her 30-year career as a Health Care Quality Leader, Ms. Szymborski is now a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. “I work with women to help them achieve goals related to weight management, energy and blood sugar levels, and balance in all areas of life, such as career, relationships, physical activity and spirituality,” she said. Ms. Szymborski previously held leadership positions at Conifer Health Solutions and Catholic Health East and was one of the judges who bestowed the Delaware Quality Award for Business.
Today, in addition to the work she does as a Certified Health Coach, as CEO and Founder of Make Healthy Fit, Inc., Ms. Szymborski has other responsibilities, including overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company; managing sales and marketing, compliance regulations, community outreach and recruiting, training and mentoring staff. She also creates recipes and runs cooking classes, writes articles and inspirational poetry for Peace & Poems; designs and leads workshops on health and wellness topics, and much more.
Rewarded by the positive feedback she receives from clients and team members who continue to live healthy lifestyles, Ms. Szymborski has many future goals. “I plan to write a book in 2018 and lead a half-day workshop on weight loss for women 50 and over,” she said. “I plan to adopt a local grammar school and offer free services based on their needs in the community.” Hoping to grow her company, Ms. Szymborski added, “Anyone seeking an opportunity to work with a health and wellness company can contact me at [email protected].”
