NAPW Inducts Brigette M. Rosendall, Ph.D., Principal Engineer / Bechtel Distinguished Scientist at Bechtel National, Inc., Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Brigette M. Rosendall, Ph.D., as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in engineering NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Dr. Brigette Rosendall is Principal Engineer (P.E.) and Bechtel Distinguished Scientist for Bechtel National, Inc. “Recently I had the honor of being invited to attend the National Academy of Engineers international events in Beijing,” she said. The 2015 Global Grand Challenges Summit (GGCS) in Beijing will focus on sustainability, health security / resilience and joy of living along with education energy and infrastructure.
After 18 years with Bechtel National, Dr. Rosendall played significant roles in its major engineering projects, including the cleanup and containment at Hanford Waste Treatment Plant in Washington State and the construction of the second span of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
Dr. Rosendall is currently involved with ASMEV&V30 Committee, North American Mixing Forum, AICHE and the UC Riverside Chemical Engineering Department Advisory Board. She has also participated twice in the NAE-Frontiers of Engineering, first as an invited attendee and second as part of the organizing committee.
