NAPW Inducts Cynthia Bowen, Assistant Director / Financial Assistant of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Daycare and Preschool, into Its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Ms. Bowen’s expertise include business operations, finance, accounting, credit management, accounts payable and receivable, strategic planning, customer service and innovative idea implementation. She is also knowledgeable when it comes to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Administration and QuickBooks. She brings to her role such skills as teamwork building, motivational leadership, negotiations, communication, nonprofit expertise, forecasting/growth, research, planning and coordination.
In 2011, Ms. Bowen was recognized with the Georgia Outstanding Leadership Award.
She has a degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Georgia Northwestern Technical College. With the continuous desire to expand her knowledge, she recently became a certified Microsoft Office Specialist. She is very passionate about charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. Ms. Bowen continues to help the professional growth of the daycare and preschool, and is fulfilled in the knowledge that she is helping the community.
