The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Tammy Davis as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in finance. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

As a Recruiting Officer at UMB Bank, Tammy Davis has been able to provide a valuable service to her employers and clients. She works closely with line managers to understand position requirements, and determines screening guidelines for resumes and applications to ensure potential candidates meet the functional needs and requirements of the available position.
In her role, Ms. Davis also makes certain recruiting and hiring activities are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures, supports on-boarding processes for new employees, tracks activity and provides reports. Ms. Davis is in charge of full cycle recruiting for three states, a responsibility she does not take lightly.
Among her accolades, Ms. Davis earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resources from Regis University. She is part of the Society of Human Resource Management and volunteers at her local high school to teach students financial literacy, resume writing and interview skills.
Having served and retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years, receiving a Bronze Star for her service, Ms. Davis continues to be a dedicated and motivated individual in her career and community.
