The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Helen Lozada as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in higher education administration. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more
than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Helen Lozada is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals on par with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Prior to her recent promotion to Acting Associate Director, Ms. Lozada had enriched Tunxis Community College with her administrative proficiencies as a Financial Aid Assistant for nearly ten years. Her extensive knowledge, diligent work ethic and unwavering dedication continue to enable her to successfully educate students on all of their available financial assistance options.

Ms. Lozada keeps pace with the exciting changes taking place within her profession through her affiliation with the Connecticut Association of Professional Financial Aid Administrators. She is currently working toward obtaining her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Bay Path University.

Ms. Lozada’s position within Tunxis Community College fully utilizes the dedication and aspirations for success that have earned her this recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, honoring her as an inspiration and a leader in her industry.
